We hold that a claim for motor vehicle nofault insurance benefits made but unresolved before the end of the two-year period following the last payment of no-fault benefits tolls the Hawai`i Revised Statutes (HRS) § 294-36(a)(2) (1985)1 statute of limitations as it applies to HRS § 294-32 (1985)2 demands for arbitration of disputed no-fault claims. Therefore, we vacate the June 7, 1995...
