The issue on appeal is whether a workers' compensation claimant who suffers a compensable injury before the effective date of the amendment to Section 306(a)(2) of the Workers' Compensation Act,1 but who is incarcerated for a criminal conviction after the effective date of that amendment, is entitled to compensation benefits during his period of incarceration.
