After the termination of his employment with Sabey Corporation, Alfred French sued Sabey for breach of an employment agreement and payment due on a remodeling project. The trial court granted Sabey's motion for partial summary judgment and dismissed the first claim, finding that the oral employment agreement was barred by the statute of frauds.
