Appellants (plaintiffs), who each claimed injuries in an automobile accident, appeal from a jury verdict that awarded their past medical expenses only. We reverse for a new trial because the trial court abused its discretion by prohibiting plaintiffs' counsel from asking the panel of prospective jurors any questions about their views on damages, including noneconomic damages.
