SHEARING, Chief Justice:

Appellant Hydee McDermott, now Hydee Myres ("Hydee"), and respondent Bradley McDermott ("Brad") divorced in February 1992 after a two-year marriage. The decree of divorce gave the couple joint legal custody of their minor child, Kaylee, and designated Hydee as the primary custodial parent.
