Barry Mutcherson appeals his convictions for three burglaries and three petit thefts. In separate trials, he was convicted of the three similar burglaries because his fingerprints were found on vandalized gum ball machines. A single fingerprint in a public place is usually insufficient evidence to prove the identity of a perpetrator.
