On November 29, 1986, Larry Don Lovell, Jr., died as a result of a gunshot wound sustained while deer hunting. His parents, appellants, brought this action against Herbert Bartlett and a number of other individuals engaged in deer hunting in the area, contending that although Mr. Bartlett fired the shot that killed their son, vicarious liability should be imputed to other hunters who were staying at the Bartlett house.
