Defendant, Patrick Lane Moody, was indicted on 9 January 1995 for the 16 September 1994 first-degree murder of Donnie Ray Robbins. On 14 July 1995, during the State's presentation of evidence, defendant changed his plea to guilty of first-degree murder.
