Defendant Copeland was convicted of leaving the scene of an accident in violation of OCGA § 40-6-270. In Case No. A97A0440, defendant appeals his conviction while in Case No. A97A0441, he appeals the denial of his motion for supersedeas bond pending appeal. Defendant has asserted that although he is not in custody there are continuing adverse consequences resulting from his conviction, particularly the revocation of his driver's license...
