Sam Randolph and Vector Underwriting, Inc. appeal the judgment in favor of Rex Beer and Central Florida Educators Federal Credit Union [CFEFCU] entered by the trial court notwithstanding the verdict. Randolph and Vector Underwriting, Inc. argue that the trial court erred in concluding that a defamatory statement made by Beer was entitled to a qualified privilege, contrary to the jury's verdict, and contend that even assuming a qualified privilege existed...
