Simone Lucia Kent appeals from a judgment and conviction pursuant to a conditional guilty plea to one count of computer crimes, a second degree felony in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-703(3) (Supp.1996). Kent claims that because the computer crimes statute proscribes the same conduct as do the statutes criminalizing forgery, Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-501 (Supp.1996), insurance fraud, Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-521 (1995), and/or communications...
