The defendant, Earlie Mattoz, was charged by bill of information, filed on December 13, 1993, with one count of forcible rape and one count of aggravated crime against nature, violations of La. R.S. 14:42.1 and 14:89.1, respectively. Defendant pleaded not guilty. His motions to suppress the evidence and statement were denied on May 10, 1994.
