Plaintiff, the personal representative of the decedent Kenneth S. Hagan (Hagan), brought this action, alleging products liability and negligence claims, against defendant Gemstate Manufacturing, Inc. (defendant).1 Defendant is the manufacturer of an attached tiltbed truck trailer which Hagan's vehicle struck from the rear, causing his death.
