After the trial court denied his motion to suppress, the defendant, Jackie Nolen, entered a Crosby1 plea of guilty as charged to possession of cocaine, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967 C(2). The trial court sentenced Nolen to 2½ years at hard labor, suspended the sentence, and placed him on three years active probation with special conditions.
