The facts relevant to this action were fully reviewed by us when we held that plaintiff's motion for partial summary judgment pursuant to Labor Law § 240 (1) should have been granted (219 A.D.2d 785). After a jury trial on the issue of damages, plaintiff was awarded $100,000 for past pain and suffering, $51,000 for lost earnings, $7,895 for past medical expenses...
