BOGGS, Circuit Judge.

After pleading guilty to a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm, defendant Lelynn Allen Covert was sentenced to 96 months in prison. The district court further ordered that Covert's sentence be served consecutively to his undischarged state sentence. On appeal, Covert argues that the district court erred in imposing a consecutive sentence because the court failed to use the appropriate version of the sentencing...
