Respondent, the State of Ohio, appeals a district court order granting a conditional writ of habeas corpus to Petitioner Drexell A. Greene, an inmate housed at Ohio's Warren Correctional Institution. The district court held that the State's refusal to provide Greene with a copy of, or access to, the trial transcript in his case violated his Fourteenth Amendment rights to due process and equal protection, and conditionally granted Greene's petition...
