By writ of error, Laidlaw Waste Systems, Inc. and Cresenciano C. Hernandez (collectively "Laidlaw") challenge a default judgment entered in favor of Elmer George Wallace and Marie L. Wallace, his wife. Laidlaw asserts the trial court erred in rendering the default judgment because the record does not show strict compliance with the rules regarding issuance of citation, the manner and mode of service, and the return of service...
