Following a jury trial, the defendant, Terrence Williams, was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon (UUW) (720 ILCS 5/24-1.1 (West 1994)), four counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm (720 ILCS 5/24-1.2(a)(2) (West 1994)), and involuntary manslaughter (720 ILCS 5/9-3 (West 1994)). He was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment on each count of aggravated discharge of a firearm, 4 years' imprisonment...
