In this premises liability case the plaintiff, Jack H. Blair, appeals from the Court of Appeals' affirmance of the summary judgment granted in favor of the defendant, Sarah Campbell. The issue for our determination is whether the defendant, the owner of the premises, owed to the plaintiff, an independent contractor hired by the defendant to repair a leaking roof, a duty to provide a reasonably safe place to work under the facts...
