OPINION

VANCE, Justice.

A jury convicted Lawron Coleman of murder and assessed punishment at twenty-five years in prison. Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 19.02 (Vernon 1994). He appeals on six points, asserting that the court erred in quashing the subpoenas of two newspaper reporters, in failing to instruct the jury on extraneous offenses during the punishment phase, and in granting judgment on the verdict because the evidence on punishment is factually insufficient...
