Defendant, Tremain Dixon, appeals his conviction by guilty plea to attempted first degree murder and aggravated burglary. We affirm in part, reverse in part and remand.

On February 22, 1995, defendant was charged with attempted first degree murder in violation of La.R.S. 14:27 and 14:30 and aggravated burglary in violation of La.R.S. 14:60.1 He pled not guilty to the charges on March 16, 1995. On October 18,1995...
