Plaintiff, a retired employee of defendant fire protection district, appeals the trial court's entry of summary judgment in defendants' favor on plaintiff's petition for declaratory judgment. Plaintiff requested the court declare that he was eligible under defendant fire district's pension plan to be credited for service during a fifteen year employment break if he made employee contributions for the period of absence.
