Appellant, Ramon Hernandez, was charged in two indictments with the offenses of murder and attempted murder. TEX. PENAL Code Ann. §§ 15.01, 19.02 (Vernon 1994). Hernandez pled not guilty to a jury, and after hearing evidence, the jury found Hernandez guilty and assessed his punishment at 99 years confinement in the murder case and 20 years confinement in the attempted murder case, both to be served in the...
