PER CURIAM.

Defendant-appellant Eric Joel Carrion-Cruz pled guilty to violating the car-jacking statute, 18 U.S.C. § 2119(3). At the disposition hearing, the district court departed upward from the guideline sentencing range to impose a sentence of life imprisonment.1 Carrion-Cruz assigns error to the upward departure.
