This is an appeal from a trial court judgment, granting a motion for summary judgment in an action for damages.

BACKGROUND

Between January, 1990, and January, 1992, David Stewart was a daily patron at "The Cue," a lounge and pool hall located in East Baton Rouge Parish. "The Cue" was owned and operated by Dorothy F.
