Kay Carter DeMo ("the wife") and Frederick V. DeMo ("the husband") were divorced by the Montgomery County Circuit Court on June 24, 1994. The divorce judgment incorporated an alimony and property settlement agreement that awarded the wife the marital home and stated that the husband shall pay the wife "the sum of $800 per month ... for a period of ten years. These payments being for the care and support of [the parties'] disabled child...
