Craig Meadows was convicted of possession of a firearm not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record (26 U.S.C. § 5861(d)), and possession of a firearm made in violation of the provisions of U.S.C. Title 26, Chapter 53 (26 U.S.C. § 5861(c)). Upon conviction, he was sentenced to two concurrent terms of twenty-seven months in prison.
