This is a termination of parental rights case.

In March 1994, S.M.W. (mother) filed a petition to terminate the parental rights of J.M.C., the father of J.C., II. The mother alleged that she and the father had separated approximately six weeks after the child's birth in July 1990, that they had divorced in September 1992, that she had been granted custody of the child, that the father had had only sporadic and infrequent contact with the child...
