The appellant was sentenced as a habitual offender to a total of seventy years imprisonment for the crimes of residential burglary, Ark.Code Ann. § 5-39-201(a) (Repl.1993) and theft of property, Ark.Code Ann. § 5-36-103 (Repl.1993). The issue on appeal is whether, under the particular circumstances of this case, the appellant was deprived of his constitutional right to counsel. We hold that he was not, and affirm his convictions.<...
