Gloria Gail Dubois, as administratrix of the succession of Alfred Dubois, filed suit for the payment of medical expenses incurred during Dubois' hospitalization for alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. Dubois died from complications associated with that malady on November 17, 1987.
