LONG, Judge.

The appellant, Joanne Ward, was convicted of manslaughter, a violation of § 13A-6-3, Code of Alabama 1975, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The state's evidence tended to show that the appellant shot and killed her husband, Mel Ward, during a domestic dispute. The state's evidence established that at approximately 10:00 p.m. on November 11, 1993, the appellant armed herself with a loaded gun and confronted her husband about a relationship...
