While Pamela Babich was a patient at Waukesha Memorial Hospital Inc., she was stuck with a hypodermic needle that was mistakenly left in her bed linens. Babich allegedly became scared that she had been infected with the HIV virus and claims that this emotional distress had a significant impact on her life. Although later testing confirmed that Babich was not infected, she and her husband brought suit against Waukesha...
