This is a sentencing appeal. Defendant-appellant Judith Parrish (Parrish) pled guilty to mail fraud, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1341 and 1346, and was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment, two years supervised release, and a $10,000 fine. The fraud arose from a scheme in which Parrish received "commission" payments in exchange for recommending a certain subcontractor to her employer.
