AMUNDSON, Justice.

[¶ 1] Joseph W. Dreps (Dreps) appeals his conviction of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He claims evidence obtained in a consent search of his car and statements he made while seated in a patrol car which were tape recorded without his knowledge should have been suppressed. We affirm.
