KELLY, Judge:

In this appeal, the Commonwealth asks us to determine whether the sentencing court erred by failing to sentence appellee, Gerald J. Lawson, to the mandatory minimum term of three years imprisonment and impose a fine upon him of at least fifteen thousand dollars in accordance with 18 Pa.C.S.A. § 7508(a)(3)(ii) following his convictions for possessing cocaine1 and possessing cocaine with intent to deliver.
