On March 9, 1994, the defendant, Mark Crawford, was indicted on one count of aggravated rape, a violation of La.R.S. 14:42(A)(3), and one count of aggravated oral sexual battery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:43.4(A)(3). On April 6, 1994, defendant was arraigned on and pled not guilty to both charges. On March 13-17, 1995, defendant was tried before and found guilty by a twelve person jury on the charge...
