The defendant, John W. Colligan, was charged by bill of information with molestation of a juvenile in violation of La.R.S. 14:81.2. According to the bill of information, the crime is alleged to have occurred on July 23, 1993. After trial on February 6 and 7, 1995, a jury found the defendant to be guilty as charged.
