Defendant, Brandy Wiley, along with Jason Pilcher, was charged by bill of indictment with two counts of first degree murder, violations of La.R.S. 14:30. The bill was amended, charging the defendant and Pilcher with two counts of second degree murder, violations of La.R.S. 14:30.1. Their trials were severed. On October 28, 1994, the jury returned verdicts of guilty on two counts of manslaughter. On December 21, 1994, defendant was sentenced to twenty...
