This appeal arises from suit to enforce a lien filed on behalf of plaintiff/appellant, Robertson Roofing & Siding, Inc., (Robertson) against defendants/appellees, Dr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Greenberg (the Greenbergs). Although Robertson styled its petition as a suit to enforce a lien, the relief actually sought was the payment of the amount allegedly due under a roofing contract.
