This appeal stems from a routine commercial banking transaction in which a defaulting debtor's business ultimately failed and there was an unsuccessful liquidation of assets. When sued by a lending institution for repayment of funds advanced, the debtor alleged by counterclaims and a separate suit that the bank was guilty of tortious breach of a duty of good faith, breach of contract, failure to deal with collateral in a commercially reasonable manner...
