The appellants, Patrick Peer and Gerald Matthews, own and operate the Infinity Club, a non-alcoholic dance club for teenagers. Both Peer and Matthews were convicted in Magistrate's Court of two counts of the common law crime of breach of the peace, and both fined $279.25 on each count.
