SHIVERS, Senior Judge.
The employer and carrier appeal a workers' compensation order granting the claimant's request for authorization of alternative and additional medically necessary remedial care. The Appellants urge that section 440.13(5), Florida Statutes (Supp.1994) operates to preclude the authorization awarded. In light of this court's previous ruling that section 440.13(5) departed from prior law as a matter of substance, we affirm.
