NETTESHEIM, J.

This case presents two appeals and a cross-appeal resulting from a medical malpractice action in which a jury awarded Dorothy Goff over $1 million in damages against Dr. Joy Seldera. On direct appeal from the judgment, Seldera contends that the statute of limitations barred Goff's action and the trial court improperly informed the jury of the effect of an answer to a special verdict question.
