The defendant, Johnny Ray Fields, was charged by bill of information with one count of possession of cocaine, in violation of La. R.S. 40:967(C). On March 8, 1990, defendant pled no contest to the charge. In accordance with the provisions of La. R.S. 40:983,2 sentencing was deferred and defendant was placed on supervised probation for a term of three years with numerous special conditions...
