The defendant, Kevin O'Connell, appeals from the judgment entered on a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff, Vanessa Abbinante, in a personal injury suit. The defendant claims that the trial court erred in preventing his expert witness from testifying about axial loading as it related to the plaintiff's injuries. He also claims that the trial court abused its discretion by using a non-IPI jury instruction...
