Khan-Dawood, formerly faculty members of the University of Illinois College of Medicine ("the University") until approximately December 31, 1989, accepted appointments at the University of Texas Medical School effective January 1, 1990. While at the University, they allowed funds from research grants and contracts, which were available for discretionary use by the University...
