The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority ("WMATA") appeals from a judgment following a jury verdict finding that WMATA was negligent per se in the inspection and maintenance of its escalators, which proximately caused a hand injury to the two-year old plaintiff. WMATA makes seven claims of error on appeal, but we need only address its contention that the district court erred in instructing the jury on the meaning of § 902...
