Appellant Ernest Orville Baldree requests a certificate of probable cause from this Court in order to appeal the district court's denial of his petition for writ of habeas corpus. The district court denied his request for such certificate. Because Baldree fails to overcome the presumption of correctness afforded to the state court's factfinding and, therefore, could not make a substantial showing of a denial of his federal rights, we deny Baldree...
