The defendant, Courtney Cossee, was charged by bill of information with aggravated battery, a violation of La.R.S. 14:34. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty and the trial court denied a motion to suppress the identification. Following a trial, a six-member jury found him guilty of second degree battery.
